BK Radio® Warranty Identification

The serial numbers of BK Radio® portable and mobile radios include a date code that can be used to determine warranty coverage. The first two digits indicate the year of production, the second two digits indicate the month of production with the remaining digits being the inventory control number.

• Example: 0921123

• 09 = year 21 = week 123 = control number

• This radio is under warranty until May of 2011.

Repair Policies

It is the practice and policy of the Service Department to restore repaired products to original factory specifications whenever possible. Warranty items will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of the Customer Service Department.

Standard Limited Warranty

BK Technologies® ("Warrantor") warrants to the Purchaser of new radio equipment of the Warrantor's manufacture that such equipment shall be free from material defects in material and workmanship for the period commencing upon the date of purchase and continuing for the following specified period of time after that date:

**To determine whether or not your G-Series radio is a flash version vs. a non-flash version look at the serial number of your radio serial numbers beginning with 0119 and older are non-flash. If the serial number is missing you can push and hold the #1 key on the keypad if the display changes to a hexadecimal number it is a flash model if the display does not change then the radio is a non-flash radio. If there are any questions as to whether or not this radio is flash or non-flash you can call the service department for any help.
